What to Expect

We are a Reformed Baptist church just north of Dunnellon, Florida, and we warmly welcome anyone who is considering visiting us for the first time. Whether you’re exploring the Christian faith, returning to church after some time away, or searching for a church home, we’re thankful you’ve taken a moment to learn more about us.

Our Mission

Everything we do as a church flows from a simple mission:

Glorify Jesus by growing in holiness and loving generously

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who lived, died, and rose again to save sinners. He is the center of our faith, the focus of our worship, and the goal of our lives. To glorify Jesus means that we seek to reflect His character, trust His Word, and follow Him together in every area of life. You can read more about what we believe here.

Growing in Holiness

Following Jesus is a lifelong journey of growth, and that growth begins with discipleship.

We believe that growing in holiness starts by learning to follow Christ as His disciple. Through the faithful teaching of God’s Word, prayer, and life together in the church, we are shaped by Jesus and trained to walk in obedience to Him. Discipleship is not a separate program but the ordinary pathway by which God forms His people into the likeness of His Son.

As we are discipled by Christ, we also learn to help others follow Him. Walking together in the Christian life, encouraging one another, and pointing each other back to the gospel is how God grows His church in maturity. None of us are perfect, and all of us are dependent on grace, but the Holy Spirit uses disciple-making relationships to produce real, lasting holiness in our lives.

This growth happens through Christ-centered preaching, shared worship, prayer, and relationships marked by humility, accountability, and love.

Loving Generously

As we are changed by the love of Christ, that love overflows toward others.

We believe the Christian life is meant to be poured out in service. Loving generously means caring for one another within the church and extending compassion to those around us. We seek to meet both spiritual and physical needs through acts of kindness, generosity, and mercy, while clearly proclaiming the hope of the gospel.

We want our love for others to reflect the self-giving love of Jesus.

Life Together as a Church

We believe God designed the church to be a family.

Every person who walks through our doors matters. You are not just another number, but someone created in God’s image and deeply valued. We strive to build meaningful relationships, support one another through life’s joys and struggles, and grow together as followers of Jesus.

Because we believe the church is a family, we value worshipping together across generations. We want children to see their parents sing, pray, and sit under the teaching of God’s Word, and we want parents to walk alongside their children as they learn what it means to follow Jesus. While we seek to serve and support families in age-appropriate ways, we believe that gathering together for worship helps form faith, reinforces unity, and reminds us that we belong to one another in Christ.

In all of this, we desire to be a church where faith is shared, modeled, and lived out together, not just taught in isolation.
