What Makes Upward Different?
We care about skill development, but we also care about encouragement, teamwork, and the kind of character that lasts after the season ends. Since 1995, Upward Sports has partnered with churches to offer a great way for kids to get active and learn a sport while building character and being pointed to Christ.
With one practice and one game each week, families get a manageable schedule and kids get a consistent, positive sports experience. Our prayer is that every child who participates would feel known, encouraged, and pointed toward the love and truth of Christ.

- Our league is open to boys and girls K5 – 5th grade.
- Early registration cost per child is $80;
- More than one child? Save an extra $10 on additional registrations.
- After 7/5/2026, the cost goes up to $100.
- Deadline for registration is 8/8/2026.

Our focus is on:
Christ – Everything that we do as a church is to Glorify Jesus as we grow in holiness and love generously, and this is no less true on the football field than it is in the sanctuary.
Character – We want to use the structured atmosphere of sporting competition to help build godly character traits in the students that play with us.
Community – This ministry helps to build our church community and strengthen relationships while also providing an opportunity for people to interact with our church outside of the normal church setting.
