A Word of Gratitude After Easter
What a gift this recent Easter weekend was. From the Seder meal, to Good Friday, to sunrise worship and breakfast together, it was full in the best way. Full of food, full of fellowship, full of laughter, and full of tears. Tears of joy. Tears of repentance. Tears of seeing again the beauty of Christ and Him crucified and risen.
Thank you to everyone who cooked, served, invited, and simply showed up. These moments matter more than we often realize.
My prayer for us is simple: that we would not leave Easter behind as an event, but that we would walk daily in the light and hope of the resurrection. Christ is alive, and that changes everything about how we live, love, and follow Him.
Upcoming Events

Secret Church: Elijah – Friday, 4/17 at 7pm
This is one you don’t want to miss.
- Live Event: Friday, April 17th from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM
- Replay Option: Saturday, April 25th from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
This will be an extended, deep dive into the life of Elijah and what it means to stand faithfully in a culture that often stands against God. As well as a time of focused prayer for our brothers and sisters in Nepal. Come ready to dig into the Word, pray, and be challenged.

Ladies Night – Tuesday, April 21 at 6:00 PM
Ladies, you’re invited to gather together for dinner. Bring a dish to share with others. This will be an evening of encouragement and growth as you walk through Respectable Sins by Jerry Bridges.
This is a rich and convicting study that helps uncover the “acceptable” sins we often overlook and brings them into the light of the gospel. Come ready for honest conversation, encouragement, and time together in the Word.
The Bridge
On Sunday, we sat with Jonah in the depths. He was praying, using all the right words, even echoing the Psalms, and yet still holding something back. He described the waves, the darkness, and the nearness of death, but he never quite named his sin or surrendered his will. It reminded us that desperation can lead us to pray, but it does not always lead us to repentance.
And if we are honest, we saw ourselves there. We often talk to God about everything going on around us while carefully avoiding what is going on inside of us. We say the right things, but still resist the very thing God is pressing on.
This week, we will see the turn. As Jonah reaches the end of himself, something begins to shift. The prayer that started with borrowed words moves toward a clearer confession, and we hear one of the most important declarations in all of Scripture: “Salvation belongs to the LORD.”
That is the invitation for us as well. Not just to pray, not just to survive the storm, but to release control and trust the God who has been pursuing us all along. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone.

Sunday Morning Bible Study and Worship
Sundays at 9:30 is our Bible Study hour. From children to adults, each class is focused on helping us grow in understanding of God’s word and encouraging one another to live out our faith.
Then at 10:45, we come together for corporate worship as one body. Our aim is simple: to humble ourselves before the throne of Jesus our King and to joyfully worship Him side by side as families. Kids and adults all share in this time as we sit under the same truth and fix our eyes on Christ together.
Breaking Bread Groups
Throughout the week, we gather in homes to discuss God’s Word and to pray for each other as we do life together. We currently have groups that meet on Sunday afternoons and Thursday nights. If you are interested in joining or starting a group, please talk to someone in leadership.

We’ll begin with a pilot group from within our church before opening it more broadly.
